I. Information Related to the Product Itself

(I) Specification Parameters

4c XLPE aluminium Power Cables cover various specifications such as 16mm², 25mm², 35mm², 120mm², 150mm², and 185mm². All parameters are suitable for medium and low-voltage power transmission scenarios.
Current-carrying capacity is one of its core performance parameters. In a standard environment (temperature 25°C, laid in the air), the current-carrying capacity of 16mm² cables is approximately 45-55A; 25mm² is about 60-70A; 35mm² is around 75-85A; 120mm² is roughly 180-200A; 150mm² is about 200-220A; and 185mm² is approximately 230-250A. When laid directly in soil, the current-carrying capacity needs to be multiplied by a correction factor of about 0.9; when the ambient temperature exceeds 30°C, the correction factor is adjusted to 0.85-0.9.
The outer diameters of cables with different specifications vary. The outer diameter of 16mm² cables is about 18-22mm; 25mm² is around 22-26mm; 35mm² is approximately 25-29mm; 120mm² is roughly 40-44mm; 150mm² is about 43-47mm; and 185mm² is around 46-50mm. Such outer diameter sizes can adapt to different laying spaces, such as pipe threading and direct burial. Its rated voltage is 0.6/1kV, which meets the medium and low-voltage power transmission standards. The DC resistance of the Aluminium Conductor is strictly controlled. At 20°C, the DC resistance per kilometer of 16mm² cables is not more than 1.83Ω; 25mm² is not more than 1.15Ω; 35mm² is not more than 0.823Ω; 120mm² is not more than 0.214Ω; 150mm² is not more than 0.171Ω; and 185mm² is not more than 0.138Ω, effectively reducing energy loss during transmission.

(II) Characteristic Uses

With different specifications and its own performance, this cable plays an important role in various medium and low-voltage power transmission scenarios.
Small-sized (16-35mm²) cables are suitable for building branch power distribution and small equipment power supply. In office buildings, 16mm² cables can be used as branch lines in the floor, transmitting power from the floor distribution room to the distribution boxes of each office to meet the power demand of office equipment; 25mm² cables can supply power to branch lines of equipment such as air conditioners and elevators in office buildings; 35mm² cables can be used for stall power distribution in small shopping malls, providing power for lighting, cash registers and other equipment in each stall. In small factories, 16mm² and 25mm² cables can be connected to small machine tools, fans and other equipment, and 35mm² cables can supply power to some small production lines with slightly higher power.
Large-sized (120-185mm²) cables are suitable for main line transmission. In the main cables of industrial parks, 120mm² cables can transmit power from the park's main distribution room to each district's distribution room; 150mm² cables can meet the demand for aggregated power transmission of many enterprises in the district; 185mm² cables are suitable for main lines of large industrial parks, supplying power to the core production areas of the entire park. In the distribution main lines of commercial complexes, 120mm² cables can be used as one of the main distribution lines of shopping malls, connecting the main distribution room and the main distribution boxes of each floor; 150mm² and 185mm² cables can meet the overall power transmission demand of large commercial complexes with a large flow of people and many electrical equipment.
In addition, this cable is also applicable to main branches of some civil power distribution systems. In the power distribution of residential communities, 35mm² cables can be used as branch main lines in the community, connecting the community's main distribution room and the distribution rooms of each building; cables with specifications of 120mm² and above can be used as the main distribution main lines of the community, accessing the community's main distribution room from the external power grid.

(III) Material and Style

In terms of material selection and style design, the cable fully combines the needs of medium and low-voltage transmission, achieving the unity of performance and practicability.
In terms of materials, the conductor is made of high-purity aluminium, which has good conductivity and lightweight characteristics. Aluminium has a low density, which can reduce the overall weight of the cable, lower the transportation and installation costs during laying, and is also convenient for laying operations in narrow spaces.
The insulation layer is made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) material, which has excellent temperature resistance and insulation. The long-term working temperature can reach 90°C, and it can withstand higher temperatures during short-term overload, which is not easy to age. It has high insulation resistance, can effectively isolate current, prevent electric leakage accidents, and has good chemical stability, which is not easy to be affected by moisture and corrosive substances in the environment.
The outer sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material, which has certain wear resistance, weather resistance and mechanical strength. It can protect the internal insulation layer and conductor from external environmental erosion, such as preventing friction damage during laying and resisting the impact of natural factors such as sunlight and rain.
In terms of style, it is a 4-core design, meeting the three-phase four-wire power supply demand. The core colors are yellow, green, red (phase wires) and blue (neutral wire), which are easy to identify and connect. The overall shape is cylindrical with a smooth surface. Cables of different specifications have obvious differences in thickness and can be intuitively distinguished by appearance. The surface of the cable is clearly printed with marks such as model, specification, rated voltage and manufacturer, which is convenient for construction and later maintenance.

(IV) Production Process

The production process of this cable is carried out around performance and quality requirements, with each process strictly controlled to ensure that the product meets relevant standards.
The production of aluminium conductors is a basic link. High-purity aluminium rods are selected, and the aluminium rods are drawn into Aluminium Wires with a diameter suitable for the corresponding specification through a continuous wire drawing process. During the wire drawing process, the wire drawing speed and die precision are controlled to ensure uniform diameter of the aluminium wires. Subsequently, multiple aluminium wires are stranded to form a conductor. During stranding, the tension is kept uniform to enhance the mechanical strength and conductivity of the conductor, and the stranding pitch is controlled within a reasonable range to ensure the stability of the conductor structure.
The insulation extrusion link is crucial. The XLPE material is put into an extruder, heated and melted at a temperature of 120-150°C, and uniformly coated on the surface of the aluminium conductor through a precision mold to form an insulation layer. The thickness of the insulation layer of cables with different specifications is different. 16mm² is about 1.0-1.2mm; 25mm² is about 1.2-1.4mm; 35mm² is about 1.4-1.6mm; 120mm² is about 2.0-2.2mm; 150mm² is about 2.2-2.4mm; 185mm² is about 2.4-2.6mm. During the extrusion process, an online thickness gauge is used to monitor the thickness of the insulation layer in real time to ensure that the deviation does not exceed ±0.1mm. After that, the insulation layer is cross-linked, and the XLPE molecules form a three-dimensional network structure through steam cross-linking to improve temperature resistance and insulation strength.
In the cabling process, 4 Insulated Cores are stranded together in a certain stranding way. During stranding, filling materials are added to make the cable round, and then a layer of wrapping tape is coated to enhance the structural stability of the cable.
Outer sheath extrusion is the last protective process. The PVC material is heated to 160-180°C in an extruder to melt and uniformly coated on the cabled cable. The thickness of the outer sheath of cables with different specifications is different. 16-35mm² is about 1.5-2.0mm; 120-185mm² is about 2.0-2.5mm. After extrusion, it is quickly cooled and shaped in a cold water tank to make the sheath closely adhere to the internal structure. During the production process, each batch of cables needs to undergo insulation resistance testing, voltage withstand testing (applying 3kV voltage for 5 minutes without breakdown) and other tests to ensure that the product quality is qualified.

II. General Product Information

(I) Packaging

The packaging of this cable focuses on protecting the cable from damage during transportation and storage, and the packaging method is designed in combination with the characteristics of different specifications.
For long-length cables (100 meters and above) of 16-35mm², wooden cable reels are used for packaging. The wooden reels are made of pine wood, with a load-bearing capacity of not less than 500kg and a reel surface diameter of about 1.0-1.2m. The cables are neatly wound on the wooden reels, and the winding tension is controlled at 60-80N to avoid structural deformation due to over-tightening or looseness due to over-loosening. Both sides of the wooden reel are equipped with baffles with a thickness of 25mm, and rubber buffer strips are added at the edges of the baffles to prevent the cable from colliding with the baffles during transportation. The outer layer of the cable is wrapped with a moisture-proof wrapping film with a thickness of 0.06mm and a winding overlap rate of 50% to isolate moisture and dust. The surface of the wooden reel is printed with model, length, weight and other information with waterproof ink, and pasted with warning signs such as "Up" and "Anti-pressure".
Long-length cables (100 meters and above) of 120-185mm² are also packaged with wooden cable reels. The load-bearing capacity of the wooden reels is not less than 1000kg, and the reel surface diameter is about 1.5-1.8m. Other packaging details are similar to those of small-sized cables.
Short-length cables (10-50 meters) are packaged in high-strength cartons. The cartons are made of corrugated paper with a thickness of 8mm, and a 5mm thick pearl cotton buffer layer is laid inside. 16-35mm² cables are coiled into a disc with a diameter of about 40cm, and 120-185mm² cables are coiled into a disc with a diameter of about 60cm, which are fixed in the cartons with strapping to avoid shaking during transportation. 1-2 bags of desiccant (50-100g per bag) are placed in the cartons to prevent the cables from getting damp. Product information and transportation warning signs are printed on the outside of the cartons, and hand holes are opened on the side for easy handling.
Packaging materials meet environmental protection requirements, and wooden packaging has been fumigated to meet export quarantine standards. All packages have passed the drop test (no damage when dropped from a height of 1.2m) before leaving the factory to ensure transportation safety.

(II) Transportation

The transportation of this cable combines the weight and size of different specifications, selects appropriate transportation methods and takes protective measures.
Short-distance transportation (within 300 kilometers) is carried out by truck. 16-35mm² cables can use small trucks, with anti-skid rubber pads laid in the carriage, and a single truck can load 10-15 wooden reels; 120-185mm² cables use medium-sized trucks, and a single truck can load 5-8 wooden reels. When loading, wooden partitions are used to separate the wooden reels to prevent collision.
Long-distance transportation (more than 300 kilometers) uses railway freight or long-distance trucks. For railway transportation, steel wire ropes are used to fix the wooden reels on the load-bearing frame of the freight carriage, and rubber pads are set at the fixed points to avoid damage to the wooden reels by the steel wire ropes. Long-distance truck transportation is similar to short-distance transportation, but more fixed points need to be added to ensure the stability of the wooden reels during transportation.
During transportation, in rainy days, the cables need to be covered with rainproof cloth. The edges of the rainproof cloth hang down to the bottom of the carriage and are compacted to prevent rainwater from seeping in. In high-temperature weather, avoid long-term exposure of cables to the sun, and a sunshade can be installed on the top of the carriage. Forklifts or manual handling are used for loading and unloading. Short-length cables of 16-35mm² can be handled manually, and long-length and large-sized cables need to use forklifts. The length of the forklift arm is adapted to the size of the wooden reel to avoid damaging the cables.

(III) Delivery

The delivery process of this cable is standardized to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
After the order is confirmed, the sales staff checks the product model, specification, quantity, delivery address, delivery time and other information with the customer within 2 hours, generates an order number and enters it into the system. Warehouse managers retrieve the inventory according to the order, and transfer it to the inspection area after checking that the cable identification is consistent with the order information. Quality inspectors conduct random inspections on the appearance, insulation resistance, length, etc. of the cables, and issue an outgoing report after passing the inspection.
The stock preparation cycle depends on the specification and quantity. For conventional specifications with a small quantity, stock preparation can be completed within 1-2 working days; for large specifications or large quantities, it can be completed within 3-4 working days. Logistics specialists select the transportation method according to the delivery address, confirm the delivery time window with the customer, and notify the customer of the arrival information 24 hours in advance, including transportation vehicle information and estimated arrival time.
After delivery, the location of the goods is tracked in real time through the logistics system, and the transportation progress is pushed to the customer every 6 hours. In case of delays, communicate with the customer in time and provide solutions. After the goods are delivered, assist the customer in checking the quantity and appearance, and after confirmation, the customer signs for receipt, and the receipt is uploaded to the system for archiving in real time.

(IV) Samples

This cable provides sample services to help customers understand product performance.
Customers can apply for samples through the official website, phone calls, emails, etc., stating the required specifications, quantity (usually 1-2 meters) and purpose. When applying, provide information such as company name, contact person and contact information, and sample applications will be responded to within 1 working day.
Samples are cut from qualified products, retaining the complete structure, and both ends are sealed with insulating 封头. A sample label is attached, indicating model, specification, production batch number and other information, as well as a copy of the test report. Samples are packaged in rigid plastic tubes, fixed with foam at both ends, and sent by express. The express waybill is marked with "Sample" and "Handle with Care", and the next-day delivery service is selected.
Samples are provided free of charge, and the express fee is to be paid by the customer. After the samples are sent, the customer is sent the express waybill number and tracking method. Within 3 working days after the customer receives the samples, the sales staff will make a return visit to understand the usage and answer questions. If further testing is needed, relevant technical support is provided.

(V) After-sales Service

The after-sales service of this cable is perfect to ensure the customer's use experience.
The warranty period is 2 years, starting from the date of customer's signature. Within the warranty period, if the cable fails due to its own quality problems, the customer can apply for after-sales service with the purchase certificate. The after-sales specialist will respond within 2 hours and arrange for technical personnel to arrive at the site for testing within 48 hours. After confirming the quality problem, the cable will be replaced free of charge, and related expenses will be borne.
The technical support team provides 7×24-hour consultation to answer questions about selection, laying, maintenance, etc. If the customer is not sure about the bending radius during laying, specific parameters can be provided; if they need to know the maintenance cycle during use, it is recommended to check once a year.
For cables that have exceeded the warranty period, maintenance services are provided. After inspection by technical personnel, maintenance plans and quotations are provided. Maintenance contents include sheath repair, insulation layer repair, etc., and a 6-month warranty is provided after maintenance. Cables that cannot be repaired can be traded in for new ones, and old cables are discounted based on weight and condition.
Regular return visits are made to customers. Return visits are made 3 months, 6 months and 1 year after use to record the operation status of the cables, collect opinions to optimize products and services.
