Aluminum Power Cable Eletrique Dual Core 2x10 2x16 2x25 2x35 Mm2 600/1000V
The dual core aluminum power cable (models covering 2x10, 2x16, 2x25, 2x35 mm², rated voltage 600/1000V) is an economical and practical low-voltage power transmission product, widely used in building power distribution, industrial equipment connection, and outdoor line laying scenarios. Its core advantage lies in using aluminum conductors as the transmission carrier, which significantly reduces material costs while ensuring basic conductivity, making it particularly suitable for cost-sensitive applications with medium transmission capacity.
In terms of specification parameters, this series of cables adopts a dual core parallel structure, with single core cross-sectional areas of 10mm², 16mm², 25mm², and 35mm², corresponding to different current-carrying requirements: the 2x10mm² cable has an air current-carrying capacity of approximately 55-65A and an underground laying capacity of about 45-55A; the 2x16mm² cable has an air current-carrying capacity of 70-80A and an underground capacity of 55-65A; the 2x25mm² cable has an air current-carrying capacity of 90-105A and an underground capacity of 75-85A; the 2x35mm² cable has an air current-carrying capacity of 110-130A and an underground capacity of 90-105A. The rated voltage of 600/1000V complies with international low-voltage distribution standards, and can be directly connected to industrial and civil low-voltage power grids, adapting to various electrical equipment such as motors, distribution boxes, and lighting systems. The conductor is made of high-purity aluminum rod (purity ≥99.5%) through bunch stranding process, with the surface treated for oxidation resistance to effectively slow down the corrosion rate; the insulation layer is mostly PVC or XLPE material. Among them, the PVC insulation layer has a temperature resistance range of -15℃ to 70℃, suitable for dry indoor environments, while the XLPE insulation layer has a temperature resistance of -40℃ to 90℃, with better aging resistance and weather resistance, and can be used in outdoor or humid environments.
In terms of characteristic applications, this series of cables simplifies the wiring process with its dual core design, especially suitable for scenarios requiring parallel transmission of live wire and neutral wire. In civil buildings, 2x10mm² and 2x16mm² cables are often used for branch lines from household distribution boxes to various rooms, or for power connections of home appliances such as lighting and air conditioners; in industrial fields, 2x25mm² and 2x35mm² cables can be used as power lines for small and medium-sized motors, water pumps and other equipment, or temporary power supply lines in workshops. In outdoor scenarios, models with XLPE insulation can be used for garden lighting and small outdoor distribution box connections, and their UV resistance and rain resistance ensure long-term stable operation. In addition, the cable bending radius is not less than 10 times the outer diameter, facilitating laying in narrow spaces and meeting the needs of complex environments such as pipe penetration in building walls and wiring around equipment.
In terms of materials and processes, aluminum conductors are formed by continuous extrusion and annealing, balancing conductivity and mechanical strength. Although the conductivity is slightly lower than that of copper (about 60% of copper), the weight per unit length is only 1/3 of that of copper, reducing installation and transportation costs. The insulation layer is tightly attached to the conductor by extrusion process, with uniform thickness (1.0-2.0mm, increasing with specifications), ensuring insulation resistance ≥500MΩ·km and passing the power frequency withstand voltage test (3kV/5min without breakdown). The sheath layer is mostly PVC material, mainly black in color, printed with clear specification marks and certification information (such as CE, ROHS). Some models can be customized with flame-retardant sheaths to meet the needs of places with high fire protection requirements.
In terms of installation and maintenance, the cable supports various laying methods such as open laying, pipe threading, and direct burial. Copper-aluminum transition terminals must be used at joints to avoid electrochemical corrosion. During daily maintenance, excessive bending or extrusion should be avoided, and regular inspections should be conducted to check whether the insulation layer is damaged or aged. The product warranty period is usually 1 year, during which faults caused by material or process defects can enjoy free replacement services.
Overall, the dual core aluminum power cable has core competitiveness with high cost performance and strong adaptability, providing an economical and reliable solution in the field of low-voltage power distribution, especially suitable for projects with limited budgets but basic requirements for transmission stability.
