The THW-2-LS 600V cable is a copper-core wire specifically designed for harsh environments, with core advantages including 90°C high-temperature resistance, strong moisture resistance, and low-smoke properties. It also covers a wide range of specifications from 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG, with a rated voltage of 600V. It is widely suitable for scenarios with high requirements for safety and stability, such as commercial buildings, industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, and emergency systems, making it an ideal wiring choice that balances performance and safety.​ In terms of core performance, the 90°C high-temperature resistance breaks the temperature limit of conventional cables. Compared with the maximum operating temperature of 60-75°C for ordinary cables, this cable can operate stably in a continuous high-temperature environment of 90°C. Even in the event of short-term temperature fluctuations (such as equipment overload heating or sudden ambient temperature rise), it can maintain the conductivity of the conductor and the integrity of the insulation layer, avoiding the risk of insulation softening, aging, or short circuits caused by high temperatures. This feature makes it particularly suitable for scenarios close to heat sources, such as wiring around boilers in industrial plants, power supply for equipment in commercial building computer rooms, and wiring in elevator shafts of high-rise buildings, solving the problem of frequent cable replacement in high-temperature environments.​ Moisture resistance is another core advantage. The cable's insulation layer is made of special modified materials, which have excellent water resistance and moisture penetration resistance. Even in high-humidity environments (such as underground garages, humid workshops, and bathroom ceilings) or short-term water-exposed scenarios, it can effectively isolate moisture, preventing conductor oxidation and rust and insulation layer failure due to moisture. Experimental data shows that after the cable is continuously placed in a constant environment with 95% relative humidity and 90°C temperature for 1000 hours, the insulation resistance remains above 10¹²Ω·cm, which is much higher than the industry standard of 10⁹Ω·cm. This ensures stable power transmission without leakage risks, and is especially suitable for wiring needs in humid environments such as underground projects and water conservancy facility control rooms.​ The low-smoke feature focuses on safety protection, meeting the fire safety requirements of modern buildings and industrial scenarios. The conductor is made of high-purity electrolytic copper with a purity of ≥99.95%, which has excellent conductivity. Different AWG specifications correspond to different current-carrying capacities: the 14 AWG specification has a rated current-carrying capacity of approximately 20A, suitable for lighting circuits and power supply for small electrical appliances; the 10 AWG specification has a current-carrying capacity of approximately 40A, which can be adapted to medium-power equipment such as air conditioners and washing machines; the 2/0 AWG specification has a current-carrying capacity of up to 150A, which can meet the power transmission needs of high-power equipment such as industrial motors and large compressors.
